From August 1, 2022, legislation in Switzerland will allow simplified dispensing of medical cannabis products without an exceptional permit from the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH). THC-containing cannabis preparations (and flowers) can now be dispensed as extemporaneous prescriptions by means of a narcotic prescription from a physician in every pharmacy. Pharmacies also no longer require an exceptional authorization from the FOPH.
Legislation in Switzerland will allow the export of cannabis products and preparations containing THC for medical purposes from August 1, 2022.
The legal requirements differ widely and are currently in transition in many countries. An increasing number of countries in Europe and elsewhere are permitting the medical use of cannabis or cannabis-based preparations.
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
